Custody status, release decisions, charges, court events, phone numbers, office hours, visitation rules, and public-record procedures can change without notice. Baltimore County does not publish a public jail roster, so many custody questions must be checked through the Baltimore County Detention Center, Maryland VINE, Maryland Case Search, Maryland DPSCS, or a Maryland Public Information Act request under General Provisions §§ 4-103, 4-201, and 4-202. Records may also be withheld or redacted under General Provisions § 4-301 when a confidentiality rule, privilege, court order, or other law applies. Call the responsible office before visiting a facility, sending money, relying on a release date, or assuming a record is current.
